 # The measurement of average hourly speed of moving distance within 60 seconds

It is confirmed that the watch is in non-timeslot time-keeping status, i.e., time-keeping pointer is located at starting point (3.2);

Press button A when the object starts to move;

(Within 60 seconds) press button A again when the object stops moving;

Measure the moving distance of the object;

Read the value of velocimeter indicated by timeslot time-keeping large second hand, calculate average speed according to formula (1).

Average speed=moving distance × the value of velocimeter indicated by second hand........................................formula (1)

Measuring the average speed of a robot with the moving distance of 200m is taken as the example.

Press button A when the robot starts moving, press button A again when it reaches the terminal point of 200 meters, time-keeping large second hand moves not more than one circle (60s), the velocimeter scale is 45, apply 45 in the formula (1) .

Robot’s average moving speed = 200m × 45 = 9,000m / hour = 0.2km × 45 = 9 km / hour
